Bpught a wemo plug from a thrift shop. There is no indication anywhere when downloading or opening the app that wemo servers were shut down. Just gets stuck in the middle of account creation. Their support page still exists, and it walks you through account setup, and give hints and tricks as to why it's not working.... finally a reddit thread informed me they bricked all their devices.... never buying anything welkin related again

Welkin, now, discontinued services, including cloud and app. So don't bother downloading this app, it's pointless! You can no longer use these devices. They are just little electronic bricks...worthless... Like this app. I had the balcon wemo smart plugs for years. Suddenly belcin wants to stop sarah singh. He app in the cloud services for these devices. It's a pity, it's a shame... You need to do better bill kin. The devices otherwise work... If you just allow it. SMH. New rating ZERO STARS.
