Great weather app. Although I just updated to a Galaxy S24/Android 14with the most recent Android OS update and 1 issue persists - radar loop animations sometimes are for a 4-hour period and move smoothly. Other times the loop is just 1 hour & looks jerky. My device will definitely handle the longer animations, can I please have that all the time?

Only thing I don't like is that the ads play the audio by default, and that is pretty annoying that there isn't a way to have the audio shut off by default. Also, the ads are quite long, compared to other apps.

This used to be a 5-star app, but now.... since the update, the app has become less useful. Mainly it's the radar. The white strip with the radar timeline is too wide. I move too quickly with no way to adjust the speed. And we used to be able to see past and future radar at the same time. Now it's only past OR future. This update was not an improvement. I've had the WGN weather app since it was created. It was the best that I could find for Chicago. I think it's time to find another app.

What happened to the storm track feature? It used to tell you what type of storm was coming and the direction of travel.
