Used to be absolutely the best. But since the app updated, the map/ radar shows a color for the temperature. Since it's cold right now, it's all blue, and I can't see any storms moving across the map.

I uninstalled the app bc of the recent ad delivery change. Commercial audio cannot be controlled or disabled. Ads randomly start while navigating the app. If your phone is not muted, you will hear the ad. Who wants an ad to kick off (full volume) when trying to check the radar, while in the office? Not me. Training would disapprove.

It used to be the best weather app to use because how accurate the radar was and it and the alerts were always before the weather got ugly. Now the radar is a joke because it will show you a time the storm should be hitting your area and next thing you know it the storm hits hours earlier. The alerts come after the storms hits where you're at, and the storm is probably halfway over when you get it. WGN has gone to 💩 over the past 15 years.
