wGravCast Codec

The wGravCast Codec turns your mobile phone into a complete radio studio!
Voice-overs via microphone, a music player, and a soundboard for jingles—all mixed live and streamed directly to your Icecast or Shoutcast server.

Designed for web radio stations, hosts, churches, live podcasts, and anyone who wants to get on air without needing a computer.

MIXER
• Compatible with external MIDI controllers (via USB or Bluetooth)
• Four individual channels: Microphone, Player, Soundboard, and Mix (output)—each with its own fader, VU meter, and on/off switch
• Waveform display for the output mix
• Optional output mix monitoring, allowing you to hear exactly what is being broadcast through your headphones
• Built-in limiter on the mix to prevent audio distortion

AUTOMATIC VOICE-OVER (DUCKING)
When you open the microphone, the music volume automatically lowers. Once you stop speaking, it returns to its original level with a smooth transition. You can customize the attenuation (ducking) depth and timing, and the feature can even react dynamically to the volume of your voice. PROFESSIONAL PLAYER WITH CROSSFADE

• Tap to play; tap again to stop with a fade-out

BROADCASTING
• Icecast 2.4+ and Shoutcast support
• Bitrates: 32 to 320 kbps
• Codecs: MP3 and AAC
• Sample rates: 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz
• Automatic reconnection
• Metadata: Automatically sends the current track title or station name to the server
• Displays the number of active listeners (check your server for compatibility)
• Continues broadcasting while the app runs in the background

MIDI CONTROLLERS
Connect a controller via USB or Bluetooth to operate faders, microphones, the player, and the soundboard using physical controls. The app includes pre-configured mappings for common controller models. MICROPHONE YOUR WAY

• Automatic input gain calibration
• Voice mode with noise reduction, or "pure" mode for use with mixing consoles and music (please check your device's compatibility)

KEEP YOUR COLLECTION ORGANIZED
Select your folders for music and jingles (supports MP3 and WAV files, including subfolders), and the system keeps everything synchronized.

IMPORTANT
The wGravCast Codec sends audio to your Icecast or Shoutcast streaming server.
To broadcast, you will need the credentials provided by your radio streaming service provider.
The wGravCast app does not include a radio server service.
