Where is that? Geography Quiz

One world map. Many games. Where is that? is a whole platform of geography games: tap countries on the world map, race your friends to capitals, hop across borders and find the link between countries. With over 11 million downloads in 15 years, it's one of the most popular and trusted geography quiz games.

› A collection of geography games
• Map quiz: find countries, capitals, US states, cities and landmarks on the world map
• Multiple choice: four answers, one is right
• Match Point: tap every country that matches the clue — wrong taps cost a life
• The Link: a handful of countries lights up and you figure out what they have in common
• Border Hop: travel the world country by country across shared borders
• Daily Challenge: one fresh geography question every day

› Multiplayer geography battles
Challenge your friends or compete with players from around the world: find countries, US states and capitals faster than your opponents in real-time games, or play round-based quizzes in the geography leagues.

› 90+ quiz categories
Countries, capitals, flags and landmarks from every continent. States and cities of the USA, Germany, France, Japan and many more. Mountains, oceans, buildings — from the Eiffel Tower to the Grand Canyon.

› Flags of the world
Flags are one of the biggest categories in the app: a flag appears and you find the country it belongs to on the world map — or pick the right answer out of four. Flags of Europe, Africa, Asia, America and Oceania, from the ones everyone knows to the ones almost nobody does. Smart repetition brings back the flags you keep getting wrong, and like every single-player game, the flag quiz works offline.

› Learning built in
Playing is learning: progress tracking, smart repetition and detailed statistics help you master every country, capital, flag and US state — great for school, travel or your next trivia night. And with the Wikipedia integration you can read up on every place you discover.

› Made for all ages
A kid-friendly interface, adjustable difficulty and customizable maps. Choose the regions and topics you want to explore and make the world map your own. And by the way: single-player games work offline, too.

› Privacy first
I build this app as an independent developer and adhere to strict German privacy guidelines. Your data — and your kids' — stays safe while you play.
