It's worth 5 stars because its original approach to perfect pitch ear training. If you have already developed relative pitch and find it gets in the way of developing perfect pitch you will probably appreciate this method. There really isn't anything already available like which pitch I think it's worth upgrading to the full version. The concept of gradually increasing the time between questions is quite innovative and the app functions quite well generally

I have been a violinist and pianist for over three decades and have been using this app for a few weeks now since the beta version was available. I have learned to recognize A already! I'm so excited about it. This is exactly what I've been looking for to help me finally learn perfect pitch. And the sounds are so pleasing, I've been using all the different instruments. Highly recommend--it actually works!

A simple but potentially effective approach. The app could be further enhanced by adding the spoken note name answer 30 seconds after the question, so you don't have to look at your device. Also, adding other instrument sounds. Finally, it would be great imo if it was expanded to included major and minor chords as identify chords/key is probably a more useful skill because then you can just use your relative pitch skills from there.
