Description
Optimize your WiFi network using WiFi Analyzer (open-source) by examining surrounding WiFi networks, measuring their signal strength as well as identifying crowded channels.
Users' privacy and security is a huge concern these days and WiFi Analyzer (open-source) is designed to use as few permissions as possible. It asks for just enough to perform the analysis. Plus, it is all open source so nothing is hidden! Most notably, this application does not require access to internet, so you can be sure it does not send any personal/device information to any other source and it does not receive any information from other sources.
WiFi Analyzer is under active development by volunteers. WiFi Analyzer is free, has no-ads and does not collect any personal information. WiFi Analyzer is not a Wi-Fi password cracking or phishing tool.

Best open-source Wi-Fi analyzer — ad-free, privacy-focused, and super useful! Latest Jan 2026 update (v3.2.2) adds Android 16 support, smoother scalable graphs, translations, OUI DB refresh, and bug fixes. Real-time signal graphs, channel ratings, 2.4/5/6 GHz bands, AP distance estimates, vendor lookup, themes, filters — all help spot crowded channels and fix dead spots fast. No tracking, minimal permissions. Actively maintained gem. Essential for optimizing home/office Wi-Fi. Thank you devs! 🚀

It's a pretty decent App What I love most about it is the fact that it's open source. I feel more Android apps need to be open source :)

It's pretty good, but for some reason it crashes whenever I switch to view 5GHz network making the tool useless. This never used to occur.

Good, but slow to update. It also keeps asking to report back my GPS location so all the SSIDs can be sent back. Who is all this Wi-Fi info being sold to? That data is obtained deceptively. To show a signal strength, you monitor RF, not send a copy of what I can hear at my address. It also stays running and reports SSIDs heard while I am out.

Without location this app cant do anything while others can at least tell me about my own connection if u press ok. The app shutdown so no point in using it shames too I trust open source stuff
