Critically, this app does not operate a VPN tunnel to any remote endpoint. There is no
VPN server, no proxy and no traffic forwarding anywhere in our code. Both services call
Builder. establish to obtain a local network interface and then never read from or
write to that file descriptor. No user traffic, DNS query or browsing data is
collected, logged or transmitted off the device. The requirement to encrypt data to a
VPN tunnel end point is therefore not applicable, as no such end point exists.
