Overview of Wifijumper's capabilities:

Known Limitations: - Starting with Android 8 (Oreo) Wifijumper has to run as a foreground service, otherwise it will be terminated after a few minutes (power-saving function). - no support for Custom Roms !!!
Description:
The Wifi Jumper automatically connects the device to the strongest available and known WiFi network. Even unknown but unsecured (open) networks are supported automatically on request.
In addition, the control of the wifi functionality can be automated based on the local radio cells (transmission towers). Outside such a defined Wifi zone, the Wifi module is automatically deactivated, within activated. Thus, the power consumption of the device is possibly reduced and the battery life extended.
Additional radio cells of an area are added automatically as long as the Wifi is still connected. This eliminates the manual maintenance of the Wifi zones.
The following permissions are required (why?):

Auto switching to strongest wifi I wish I found this app sooner. I have 3 APs in my home, and this keeps me connected to the strongest signal as I move from room to room. I rarely install paid apps, but Wifi Jumper is worth paying for.

Love it - just one problem I have a router, a wireless access point, and a wifi extender all in the same house. Big place, old construction which interferes with signals. This app works GREAT. You can tell it how often to scan and how much better the connection needs to be in order to switch. It will do it by itself or you can force switch. You can ask for a popup when switching or you can put it in your notification tray/bar. It works great, lots of options. Best 1.22$ I've spent in a long time. Would DEFINITELY recommend this app to anyone with the same issues I have (multiple routers, w.a.p's, extenders etc....... UPDATE. had to change rating to 4 stars because when you click the link for user guide and detailed instructions on how to tweak the app to your needs it automatically takes you to a 404 forbidden site. WTF!! THIS REALLY NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED

Buggy Every time I come home it refuses to allow wifi to come on. Then it tells me my radio cell is unknown. Wish I could still get my money back.

Pointless Does not switch between two routers with same ssid still have to turn wifi off and on to get best signal, thought this app would solve this problem. It does not.
