Surprisingly, it worked really well. I struggled in the beginning like a lot of folks trying to pick up the Wi-Fi signal. I think people are having trouble because the Wi-Fi is on the side of the stick. And you're not looking for the Wi-Fi from your phone. Once I figure that out and hooked up to the Wi-Fi from the stick I was finally able to get it to work. The instructions aren't that clear. Maybe they explain more in the Chinese than they do in English?? Permission request ignore it!

This worked like a charm for me. Set the switch on the side to Wi-Fi, plugged it into my Samsung S9+, connected the phone Wi-Fi to the listing for the endoscope and was up instantly. Went into the app to change resolution to 1080P and stuck it down a drain to test it. The light switch on the endoscope brightened it up at least 2x over the OEM setting, and I could see individual rust spots and hairs. Then, just for kicks, I changed the adapter on the end of the endoscope to USB A instead of USB-C which fits my phone and plugged it in to a portable USB charger I use on trips. I left the switch on the endoscope on Wi-Fi, NOT switching to USB, and opened the app. Worked perfectly. The only thing I haven't done is go through each resolution setting in the app itself. All I can think of is people getting confused as far as the negative reviews. You HAVE to set your phone or tablet Wi-Fi to the listing that shows up for this unit when it's plugged in. Otherwise, you'll just get an error. If you plug into a battery pack as I did, the same thing applies, you just don't use as much phone battery that way, and it's a lot easier to maneuver without dropping your phone or dragging it around. Also, once you see the picture right side up, I'd put a mark on the top of the camera - it helps with initial alignment!

Got the app from Google play. It works on my Galaxy S22. But app installed twice. On in English and one in Chinese. Can't uninstall the Chinese without the English version also gets uninstalled

Upon launch the app asks in Chinese language (I'm using English on my phone) to set up permissions. The only permission available is contacts. The dialog asking that prevents me from using the app at all! I do see the camera view for a split second before the dialog pops up. Phone is Pixel 6, Android 13
