WiFi Mapper scans for networks in the background as you move and notifies you when it finds a new open network.
Connect to networks directly from the app, save passwords for future use, or share them with other users.
Using real-time GPS data, WiFi Mapper detects, registers, and maps Wi-Fi networks around you, showing their exact location on an interactive map.
Unlike many Wi-Fi apps, WiFi Mapper does not rely on outdated shared databases or password sharing. All information is collected in real-time around you and stored locally on your device.

I really like that it builds a live Wi-Fi map based on real scans instead of outdated shared databases. The app allows you to scan and detect all Wi-Fi sources nearby and creates a visual map of all the wireless networks - you can see the signal strength of each one and whether it is open - very useful when looking for public Wi-Fi networks to connect to !

Produces .wmf files (what format it is ? Binary encoded SQL ? so, reason is NOT security but payment for .csv format :-((
