Description
Control your Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S via app, for example when no controller is at hand. Ideal for watching TV or multimedia content.
The remote control behaves just like any hardware media remote control for the Xbox. But here control takes place via the local home network, without any detour via the cloud and without annoying latency.
In combination with an Xbox Live account, you can even pin your favorite Xbox apps for quick launch. From now on, a click on the remote control is enough to launch the desired application directly on the console.
No advertising and no hidden additional costs!
However, it should be noted that the remote is not a full-fledged replacement for any controller and cannot be used to control games.
Note: Xbox 360 is not supported!

After paying, I wasn't allowed to download the app it's jus a waste of time

Use the XB app it is free. Also, this remote disconnects every time you close your phone screen. Changing the apps permissions to be always on doesn't cure it either. Edit: The app doesn't switch on or off the system. I have to physically reconnect the app to the XB every time I wish to press a button. Meaning I have to wait about 10 seconds just to press pause or play. That it is why I've given 1 star, the XB app has none of these issues

Trust & Safety: Safety note: The app requests standard networking and device-control permissions (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, INTERNET, TRANSMIT_IR, VIBRATE) and a license check. These are typical for remote-control apps and do not indicate access to personal data. Functionality relies on local network communication, and stability may depend on changes to Xbox interfaces by Microsoft.
