WiFi/WLAN Plugin for Totalcmd

★★★★★ Well this guy made the best Android app ever with Total Commander (file manager), I have been using well over 10 years. With amazing plugins for LAN devices access, clouds access, ftp etc. Buy his Windows version of Total Commander which is great too, shareware version too. This is great too. Samsung phones send files ok via Bluetooth, but they don't seem to allow to receive files view Bluetooth, probably because of Samsung Knox security? Wi-Fi transfer works ok both ways. Another Masterpiece 6*

★★★★★ A must-have plugin to the must-have Total Commander, but also works as standalone. File transfer, between phones as well from phone to pc, via Wi-Fi is so simple to do and very fast, no cloud storare is involved, any WLAN like wireless home network or Android HotSpot is enough. Does NOT show ads, ever. Googles automated review system fails to evaluate correctly.

★★☆☆☆ Cannot do Wi-Fi direct from phone to phone like I do with Bluetooth must go online to do transfer with Bluetooth no need to go online.

★★☆☆☆ I see no way to start WebDAV server on phone, to allow browser on my pc to upload (or download) files to (or from) the phone. The description in Play Store says the plugin creates a local WebDAV server, but I don't see anything about the server in the plugin app. The app only mentions receiving files as a client, not as a server. I'm sorry to have to give a low rating, because I like the Totaled app.

★★☆☆☆ My review in 2017 used to be that this was perfect. Unfortunately, it appears to have issues in 2023. Even though I have granted location permission and turned on gps. It still fails to create an access point or a Wi-Fi direct server and prompts for location permission in a loop. Location permission is also not necessary in newer versions of android like 13. So, if things were fixed would be great.

★★☆☆☆ Asks to scan QR code or enter URL? Where do I get that from? This does not create a hotspot and web server on the Android device to transfer files with.
