A player who finds the number in 7 guesses with 30 seconds remaining scores 100 + 60 + 15 = 175. A random guesser who takes 12 guesses with 10 seconds remaining scores 100 + 20 + 0 = 120. Invalid guesses in Win Star trigger a shake animation on the input field. The shake clearly signals that the submission was rejected — whether the number was outside the current range or the input was malformed — preventing confusion about whether the system processed your guess.

Every Win Star round is saved to a local database with score, guess count, time used, and outcome. The history view lets you compare your binary search rounds against your earlier random guessing rounds and see the improvement in concrete numbers.
