Xyltrante Leap is a precision hopping game built around a single, strict rule: every jump must land exactly one height tier away from where you stand.

Each wooden ledge carries its own tier number. Read it, then tap the ledge that sits precisely one tier above or below your current perch. Land on anything else — two tiers up, level ground, three tiers down — and you tumble, losing a life. There's no room for a close guess; the tier has to match exactly.

Thirteen levels build the rule up piece by piece. Early boards let you take your time and study the numbers before committing to a tap. From level 9 onward, some ledges stop holding still: they drift in place and swap their tier number as they move, so the ledge that was safe a second ago might not be anymore. You're no longer just reading the board — you're timing your tap against ledges that are actively changing underneath you.

The game rewards a steady eye and a calm tap more than raw speed. Rush the read and you'll misjudge a tier; freeze too long and a drifting ledge will have already swapped past the number you needed. Xyltrante Leap is about finding that rhythm — scan, confirm, leap — and carrying it through thirteen ledges that get less forgiving with every level.
