WineBudd: Wine Tasting Journal

WineBudd is a private wine journal. You taste, you write it down, you remember it. No social feed, no strangers' ratings, no ads.

TWO WAYS TO LOG A WINE
• Quick log: a name and a rating, from Faulty to Outstanding. Add a photo of the label and a note if you want to. Save it and get back to your glass.
• Full tasting note: tap "Add tasting details" for a step-by-step structured note, so your notes stay comparable from one wine to the next.

INSIDE THE FULL TASTING NOTE
• Appearance: clarity, intensity, colour
• Nose: condition, intensity, development
• Aroma: primary, secondary and tertiary characteristics
• Palate: sweetness, acidity, tannin, alcohol, body, finish
• Flavour: primary, secondary and tertiary flavours
• Conclusions: quality level, readiness for drinking, your own note
Most of it is tap to choose, not type.

FIND IT AGAIN
Search your journal by wine name, or filter by country, region, wine type, vintage, quality level or flavour.

PERFECT FOR
• Wine lovers who want to remember great bottles (and not repeat the disappointing ones)
• Wine students and course-goers who want to practise writing a structured tasting note
• Anyone who's photographed a wine label and then forgot everything about it
• People who want a wine diary without a social network attached

YOURS
Your journal is private. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.

Recent changes:
- Quick log: save a wine with a photo, its name and a rating. You can still add full tasting notes, and every tasting-note field is now optional.
- If you leave a new entry before you save it, WineBudd keeps a draft on your phone and restores it next time.
- The sign-in and sign-up screens now fit smaller phones, and the keyboard no longer covers the form.
- "Open email" after sign-up now opens your mail app.
