Wlingua - Learn German

★★★★★ Great app ! It helps me a lot with English and now, I'm learning German. Lessons are always structured from beginner level to advanced level!

★★★★★ Not keen on the increasingly cartoonish feel of Duolingo? This will be of interest. The free version of the app is partly crippled in that some exercises are 'paid only' as opposed to Duolingo's advertising model, but the information is still there to learn. Learning curve itself is much steeper than Duolingo, but it's not too steep. The only big downside is the mic with the spoken exercises, which seem very hit & miss. Not a pronunciation issue, more a mic/speech detection/server problem.

★★☆☆☆ Ask for my email to register. Enter my email and password but always said that I habe the wrong password. Very confusing and inconvenience. Not recommended. I want to pay but look like your system doesn't even want me to use the app properly.

★★☆☆☆ It was a great app until exactly September 16th where the dictation no longer works whatsoever, I even had a native German speak to it, and it doesn't work anymore. I would have given it five stars before today, but now it's completely garbage. The whole point of this app compared to others was that you could speak to it, and now you can't, so there goes that feature. We've tried multiple microphones, even different devices, it just doesn't work anymore.

★★☆☆☆ The mic doesn't work for me on the app. Firstly, when I click the mic button it is very loud. Then, after turning the mic on, it switches off almost immediately and the app says that it couldn't pick up what I said. My mic works fine on other apps on my phone.
