The best word checker I've ever used. Simple concise definitions and it works offline too. It won't suggest words to play which I like. I wish the latest dictionaries were available, but it works great otherwise.

This Scrabble app is perfect for what it needs to do. Some Scrabble apps provide detailed support by allowing you to enter your letters, spaces available, etc. and then provides a list of words to choose from. Players don't even need to think anymore. We don't allow those apps to be used when we play, we expect other players to at least think of their own words! However, this app is perfect for simply verifying that the word a player considers is allowed. Thank you!

App used to be great, but it looks like there's a problem with the dictionaries now. It seems like it is always showing Collins words, even if I select the NASPA list (e.g. if I look up CH in NASPA it says it's valid, but it is only valid in Collins).

Yes, some may think it's cheating looking up words, BUT have ever sat there for an HOUR while some is desperately trying to fit a word???? A good app stays within the strict Scrabble dictionary, and helps speed up the game... for someone who has ONLY won 1 game in 200, that is not cheating... it is the game that matters, NOT who wins.
