Word Vector

How close can you get?

Word Vector shows you a word. Find another that’s close in meaning. Every guess is scored from 0 to 100 by how near it really sits in meaning, based on 50,000 English words. Type “princess” for QUEEN and you’re sizzling; type “banana” and you’re ice cold.

It’s a quick, cozy word game. Easy to learn, and hard to stop playing.

THREE WAYS TO PLAY

• TYPE: Type your own word close in meaning before the 10-second timer runs out. The closer the meaning, the higher the score.
• SELECT: Four words, one is hot. Tap the one closest in meaning in 5 seconds, then see how every option scored.
• ARRANGE: Sort four words from hottest to coldest. Every word in the right slot earns its points, and a perfect order earns them all.

3,000 LEVELS

Each mode has 1,000 levels of 10 words. Hit the target score to unlock the next. Every 20th level is a Hard level built around a theme like Space, Food, Music, Ocean or Fantasy. Beat it to earn that theme’s sticker for your collection. There are 20 to find.

DAILY LEADERBOARDS

Every game adds to your total for the day. Watch yourself climb past other players on each mode’s daily leaderboard, then start fresh tomorrow.
