Talking Movable Alphabet Activity The talking movable alphabet has been recognized by many teachers as a wonderful tool to teach kids word building and how to learn to read
• Pronounce any word, number or sentence built using the Movable Alphabet • Natural Sounding US Voice • Letter sound (phonics) or name when a letter is touched in the alphabet • Alphabetic or Qwerty Keyboard • 4 keyboards available: letters, numbers, consonant digraphs (like “th”) and vowels digraphs (like “oo”) • Uppercase or lowercase letters • Voice Transformer (speed and tone) for added fun • Customized word pronunciation, if necessary • Keyboard emulation option (dragging letters is optional)
3 Fun Spelling Activities 3 spelling activities of increasing difficulty are provided to adapt the activity to the child’s spelling level. You can use the built-in word lists, or create your own.
1 - "Word Practice" says and displays the word to spell, and asks the child to spell it using the talking movable alphabet allowing the child to learn the spelling easily 2 - "Scrambled Letters" says the word and displays the letters needed to build the word or sentence, and asks the child to reorder the letters. 3 - “Spelling Quizzes” is a standard spelling test. The app won’t move onto the next word until the child has correctly spelled the word, helping them to remember its correct spelling.

Cost money if you want to continue after trial. Able to play offline. Literally perfect for what I needed. Learning to spell words! LOVE that you can free style and learn with talking movable alphabet. It is so fun, have not got tired of it yet. Also gives words to spell, in word practice. Scrambled letters is so cute. Spelling quizzes you spell the words they say. There are word lists provided, or you can work from your own. Also, option to choose from alphabet line up or qwerty keyboard.

I downloaded 20 spelling apps and this was the worst by a long stretch. Can the developers even speak English? Do they know how to teach? Clearly not

Completely locked from the start. Downloaded a handful of apps a couple of weeks ago for my son, and we are slowly working our way through them to see which ones we like. Hadn't even tried this one yet, so it was either locked with no way to even see how it works, or was a timed trial that we didn't get to use. Either way I'm not buying an app I can't even try.

It has a lot of curse words and slangs that is inappropriate for kids U5 approved. It also allows kids to put their location into their board which is a threat to both kids and parents privacy. They can simply use their board to communicate to CPs what is their name, location, and age.

Will not let me restore a purchase from my sons' tablet even though we bought with my credit card so if he leaves hos tablet at his dads we can still practice his words at my house....
