Wordlike is a word-based, roguelike deckbuilder! Make words, tune your bag of letters, and collect powerful items to beat challenging levels.
It combines the strategy and replayability of roguelike deckbuilders with the challenge and nostalgia of classic word games. If you've played Balatro, it's like Balatro with words.
Wordlike is made up of four boards, each with several levels—your goal is to beat these levels by making words. As the level target scores climb, you'll need to pick up Knick Knacks that boost your score and direct your strategy.
You'll also encounter unique, game-changing events that bolster your run, forcing you to evaluate tradeoffs, swap items, and more.

I think I WOULD like this game, but it keeps halfway freezing on me. It will let me read descriptions, but not actually press any buttons or move any tiles. I haven't even made it through the tutorial and this has happened to me three times. Please fix this soon, I want to try this game properly! :)

Very good game, takes concepts liberally from Balaton and all the better for it. A few bugs, e.g. not letting me play 'quay' in a 'no adjectives' boss level

Extremely slow loading, occasional force closing, and basically not ready for release due to features "coming soon". For twice the price of a very similar app(Letterlike), this shouldn't be in the shape it's in currently. Will update review when app is fully released. Edit: stickers related to turning tiles into gold fail to work. No way to implement the sticker. Basic features don't work.

This game was awesome, now it will not let you start a new game. Paid game, more like a paid scam. Tried contacting the dev no luck.
