Work Hours Log: Timesheet

Work Hours Log is a simple work hours tracker for hourly and shift work. Tap once to clock in, tap once to clock out, and the day's timesheet is done.
Weekly and monthly totals add up on their own: hours worked, days worked, and an estimated amount based on the hourly rate you enter.
Breaks are deducted, shifts that run past midnight are counted correctly, and what you record stays on your phone.

NEW IN 1.2
• Night premium pay (22:00–05:00, +25%) — optional, matched to late-shift rules
• Yearly summary with an annual income limit tracker (e.g. Japan's ¥1.03M wall)
• Per-shift transport allowance, totalled separately from wages

📝 One tap in, one tap out
• A single big button on the Today screen: it says Clock in, then it says Clock out
• A session in progress shows its elapsed time while it runs
• Today's finished hours sit right under the button
• Forgot to clock out? Fix the record later instead of losing the shift

📋 Records you can correct
• Every shift listed by date, one month at a time
• Tap a row to edit the date, start time, end time, break minutes and memo
• Add a past shift by hand when you forgot to tap the button
• Break minutes are subtracted from each shift, never below zero
• A shift from 22:00 to 06:00 counts as eight hours, not a negative one

📊 Weekly and monthly totals
• Switch between the weekly and the monthly view
• Step back and forward through periods to check any week or month
• Total hours worked, days worked and estimated pay for the period
• A shift still running is left out of the total, and the screen says so

💵 Estimated pay from your hourly rate
Enter your hourly rate once and every total comes with the amount those hours add up to. Choose the currency you are paid in, and the app formats it the way your region writes money. This is a personal estimate for your own reference: it is hours multiplied by your rate, nothing more.

🔒 No permissions, no account
Work Hours Log asks for no Android permissions of its own: no storage, no location, no contacts, no notifications. Your records live in a database on the phone, and the app does not send them to any server of ours. There is no sign-in and no account, so there is no sync between devices. Export copies the data to the clipboard instead of writing a file, which is exactly why no storage permission is needed. Android's own automatic backup is left enabled: your records can be included in the backup Android keeps in your personal Google account, so they can come back when you set up a new phone or reinstall the app. That is an operating system feature you control from Android settings. The ads in the free version use an advertising ID, and where required you can review your consent choices from the settings screen.

✨ Also included
• Works fully offline, airplane mode included
• Week starts on Monday, Sunday or whatever your region uses
• English, Korean, Japanese and Spanish, with local time and currency formats
• Small download, instant start

🗓 Who it is for
• Hourly and part-time workers who get paid by the hour
• Rotating or night shifts where start and end times change daily
• Freelancers who bill by the hour
• Anyone counting hours in a spreadsheet or a notes app

🌙 Free, with one optional upgrade
The free version includes everything above and is supported by a small banner and an occasional full-screen ad. Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it does two things: it removes the ads and it unlocks export. Export builds a spreadsheet-ready table of every record (date, start, end, break minutes, worked minutes, pay, memo), shows you a preview and copies it to the clipboard, ready to paste into a spreadsheet, a note or an email.

If you are working shifts, picking up extra hours or freelancing by the hour, Work Hours Log keeps the record simple enough that you actually keep it. Clock in on your next shift and let the week add itself up.
