This free 24/7 app not only makes available Pittsburgh's most accurate forecast but allows users to get interactive with many of the resources available in Severe Weather Center 11.
Summary of Features: - There is a new radar in the weather app that matches Live Storm Tracker Doppler 11 and also includes future radar to provide you with a likely path and outlook of storms. The radar has 250 meter resolution, the highest available. - New tracks - We added earthquakes and storm tracks as layers in the radar. Now you can track the location and magnitude of earthquakes as well for storms the speed, direction and type. Tap the “storm symbols” icon in the radar to see the list. - Push alerts are FREE for more than 25 alert types including everything from tornado warnings to winter storm warnings and tropical storm alert types. - Now you can scroll through the home screen to access most of what you need or want on one tab. - Place a location pin precisely where you want it for a specific address or any position on a map. When saving a location you can name it exactly how you want it. - The app works with identical features on tablet and handset. - Additional items added seasonally

It's hilarious that there are two very active alerts for the Pittsburgh area right now. But I guess channel 11 has different air n heat than the rest of us do lol... Allegheny County has a very active at this very moment code orange air quality alert and extreme heat alert but nothing here says any of that. .in fact no alerts here for Allegheny County?

Anyone else experiencing the fact that When you put alerts on, and then you push the button. So that you could see what the up-and-coming weather is. It will flow with the green, the yellow on screen, but on the top layer, the lightning bolts stay in place or the directional, it stays in place. It doesn't travel with the clouds and stuff. Not like the old app. It's\n Almost as if there's 2 different screens blending themselves in together, but 1's moving ahead, any other ones standing still.

Money, money, money! App is FILLED with ads and sketchy 3rd party clickbait videos. They generate red weather alerts but then make you watch a video ad before seeing critical weather advisories! . Greedy and slimy. There are too many good weather apps to keep this clickbait extravaganza. Deleting.
