Wrecking Knight: Survivor

The villagers burned your castle. You have a spiked iron ball on a chain. Go and discuss it.

Wrecking Knight is a horde survivor with no attack button. Drag your thumb and the knight runs. The chain follows. The faster the ball moves, the harder it hits. Move it too slowly and it deals no damage. At full swing, it deals double damage. Stand still and they surround you, so you keep moving, whip the flail through the crowd and leave a trail of ghosts behind you. It is hack and slash you steer with one thumb. If you like horde survivor games but wish you did more than walk, this one makes you aim with your feet.

HOW A RUN GOES
• A chapter is ten waves and takes about ten minutes.
• Level up, pick one skill out of three, roguelike style. You can hold five attacks, your weapon included, and five supports.
• Take an attack to rank V and the draft offers an evolution with two forms to choose from. The Iron Star becomes Juggernaut, with bigger, heavier stars, or Tempest Stars, with three smaller ones.
• A boss waits at wave 5 and another at wave 10.

SIX WEAPONS ON A CHAIN
• Iron Star: a balanced spiked flail that sweeps through crowds.
• Titan Hammer: fewer, heavier hits that shove foes back.
• Fang Chain: many small dagger heads and lots of quick hits.
• Frost Censer: its skills and perks freeze foes and leave cold patches behind.
• Reaper Hook: a long crescent hook that cleaves through foes in its path.
• Soul Lantern: its skills and perks send seeking souls at the crowd.
Each weapon adds two skills of its own to the draft, so a hammer run plays nothing like a lantern run.

FIVE LANDS, TEN BOSSES
Fallen Fields, Ruined March, Ashen Grounds, Frostfang Pass and Blight Marsh. You start against peasants with torches and work your way up to the Frost Jarl and the Bone Tyrant.

BETWEEN RUNS
• Merge gear up through six rarities, across weapon, helmet, armor, gloves, boots and amulet.
• Unlock talent cards that stay with you.
• Open Iron, Golden and Abyss Chests for new weapons and gear.
• Clear quests, collect Login Treasures, and come back to what the Spoils Portal gathered while you were away.

No internet needed to play.
