Review in 2026. Great app for any ZF transmission. And with the new XHP Ultra adapter the tuning, data loging etc. is flawless. Realy recommend it to spend money on.

I've been using xHP for a few years without applying a stage'd map to the car, mainly because of the adjustments it allows to the ZF8HP transmission, and the ability to read DTC;s. More recently I applied a Stage 1 tune to my engine ECU, so decided to upgrade my xHP to allow a stage'd tune on the transmission. I needed some support through this and xHP (Sebastian) was great, and got me up a running really quickly. The car now feels great to drive, and sounds great too!

10/10 would recommend xhp tune for anyone looking to get more out of their automatic bmw. I have this for my 2007 x5, and it makes the transmission shift like a dual clutch trans, speeds up the shifts and makes m mode so much more fun to use. This also helped eradicate some shift issues I was having. Will be also getting this for my e90 3 series soon.
