★★★★★ Four stars for my initial testing! I will definitely be keeping up with this and making a small donation. The fact that this not only views but can create notes already is awesome. I use Ubuntu on my Surface Go and the ability to view X++ notes on the run is something I have been looking for! Thank you so much for your hard work.

★★★★★ Promising but performance is pretty terrible rn. Eraser also lacks stroke ease functionality, but I'm hopeful about the future of this app. Viewing journal files works well though. For what it says and it being a beta, I'll give it a pass as a viewer.

★★☆☆☆ At the moment it's still much too rough to be really useful. Strokes only seem to appear after finishing drawing a line, the eraser only works as a brush eraser instead of deleting entire lines and the biggest gripe I have right now, there is no undo or redo functionality. Features are being added, and it definitely seems promising if the desktop program is the model, but right now it's still too early to be a meaningful alternative on the go. I am very eager to change this review with future versions, though. Journal++ has become an enormous helper during the pandemic, and I'd love to be able to use it on mobile a well.

★★☆☆☆ I want to like it!! It's a dead app - not updated in over a year. If the "Not implemented" features would ever be implemented, this would be the perfect note-taking app! As it is, it really sucks, and I can't reccomende it.

★★☆☆☆ I have tried using it on the e-ink Android tablet with Wacom-like EMR stylus, namely Onyx Boox Note Air, but it is currently unusable for this purpose. It doesn't lag as badly as OneNote (which is included in the Onyx Boox app store, which means that it might be optimized for this platform), but there is around 1 to 2 seconds lag. It also interacts weirdly with the stylus: somehow I stuck in having drawing with stylus switch to keyboard, while it worked when last time tried it. Half of functionality does not work at all...
