I have just started using Pulse, but it is working beautifully. I was having to leave Samsung Messages for Google - which I don't like. I was doing a lot of research to find an app that would work on my phone and tablet. Pulse was highly recommended on all the "best of" lists. While I was doing this, my phone was changed to Google without my ok. I immediately downloaded Pulse and made it the default app. After using it for 24 hours, I wish I had chosen it much sooner!

Works so well. Terrific. And the developer is active and constantly improving. Sync across devices including PC and any web browser is awesome. I have changed nearly a dozen phones since I first started using this app 7+ years ago... and I have lost no text messages because of the Pulse cloud sync mechanism. Well done! Request: Add support for T-Mobile emergency satellite messaging. The android UX asserts that the feature is only available via the native SMS client.

It syncs well, but there is sometimes a lag with that. I don't always get bubble notifications, but the badge does show new msg came in. that said, the number of msgs shown on the badge is always over 40 even tho only one msg came in. it currently says 41, but it's also shown 44 for a while, then 43, now 41. It started at 41 when the first msg came in after installing. I could get 3 msgs in, and it will still show over 40. All of my msgs are read, so that's not it. A little annoying.

I have had this app for 3 years, but when I upgraded my phone recently I have had constant problems. My main problem is that I can't receive group text. It's down to one star for me. I'm going to switch to another app.

I switched to Pulse because Samsung is discontinuing their messaging app. I would rather pay Samsung to have theirs back rather than pay Pulse for theirs. My son was getting my texts, but lately, he gets a notification but no message! I texted my brother yesterday and haven't heard back. Now I'm wondering if any of my texts are going through? There are other things I like and don't like, but there's no point in using the app if the messages aren't going through!

My Samsung S25+ cannot receive messages from some iPhones. I tried everything suggested via research including ensuring the iPhones had I messaging off, SMS toggled on, etc. etc., and I swapped back to the native default Samsung messages and also try Google messages and they both allow texts from iPhone to come through just fine. I paid for this app but will be asking for a refund.
