★★★★★ I really like Yandex apps, customer service is great! You read our reviews, and reply to them, well done! Last time I said Yandex translate was really bad translating to Spanish, and uninstalled it. But I think Yandex has a big potential to become a grate digital brand to compete against Google, so I installed it again. First time using it and after trying with deepl, and Google, Yandex did it more than correctly, giving examples and synonyms as well, the other two failed enormously! Well done!

★★★★★ Purple color in word by word translation is hard to read. Light color would be better. I think it would be best to underline words for this issue. Poor UX experience for this. However, it is very nice to learn new words in this way. Overall good app.

★★★★★ When translating from mainly English to Russian. Feeding it into the Russian language system. You don't want to fool anyone, or the computers.

★★☆☆☆ Voice dictation totally sucks. Even when having a native Russian speaker talking slowly it omits half sentence, writes something, then deletes that. Then types something else and changes it on the fly and in the end you have a couple broken words, half of which weren't even spoken. Using the conversation tool, the results are the same. Same happens with Spanish which is my native language or English from another native speaker. Sometimes it overcorrects the right words into anything else.

★★☆☆☆ It works offline, but it happens very often to give the same word as translation of the origin and not a translation. Other times happen that it give phonetic equivalent of another language and no actual translation. 2 (out of 10) from me!
