I'd recommend. Renting with escape contributes financially to help with the general maintenance and running of my motor home. It's a job remember, not free money, organization, cleaning, problems can arise, reparations almost after every rental, but for me, it's worth it.

We have booked Pedro's van for 10 days. Everything went smoothly, he explained to us everything that we need to know, very pleasant guy, we recommend the van 100%, you have everything that you need, good fridge and simple kitchen :)

Horrible experiences with escape. As a caravan owner, I started renting my caravan on this platform. And every time a renter broke something, escape was NOT responsible. The "guarantee" they claim to have is franchised with €1500, which means that the first €1500 the renter or the owner pays it. The renter pays a deposit and from this deposit you can claim the damages. So the insurance is an SCAM, the reality is that the renter pays. If the owner didn't find out about the damage, he pays.

I strongly advise against using Escape. Had a terrible experience renting a van where an owner accused us of damages that already existed to the van and charged us over 2000 euros in repairs directly from our credit card. Escape also refused to post our review after this experience. It's not worth the savings, look elsewhere to rent vans in Europe.

If you have a camper or caravan, don't rent it with Escape, we have our camper rented through them, and they completely let us down when a renter crashed and damaged the camper, left it 100 km away in a garage, and they came back by taxi. Of course, we couldn't sign the end of the contract because this smart guy left it in Lleida instead of Barcelona, and we couldn't see the state of the camper until it reached 3 days after. Escape didn't protect us at all, and now we have to pay for the damages.
