★★★★★
Great app In all Android store you cannot find an app similar to this one. This is the only chess notation app that I have found. Chess notation is only good for serious players. Hence, less enthusiasm towards developing such app. Yet you did this and keep updating & upgrading. Kudos to you for such an effort.

Superb inexpensive alternative to Monroe This Android app is outstanding. As a USCF player and tournament director, I'm pleased to see someone offer an affordable alternative to the Monroe device. I've been able to install the notate app successfully on 2 different devices, and the developer was kind enough to respond personally to my emails. This program is easily worth $2.99 or more. It is an unbelievable bargain at 99 cents.

I use this app to record games/positions, and for what it does, it is great. It is a shame that it is not allowed to record games in congresses, local leagues etc., at least in England, and this is a serious flaw, as the app is clearly aimed at serious chess players.
★★☆☆☆
Ugh... I've used this app before and had good results. Today (2.5.15) I was using it to record an OTB game with a fellow musician and player I haven't seen in a long while. In the middle of the first game the app froze, went back to the starting position, and then would not let me load any more moves. Grrr...... Pencil and paper seem to be the only real choice.

Not USCF compliant This is fun and easy to use for recording games, but it is NOT approved for tournament play. Certify it with USCF and it gets 5 stars.

Needs USCF certificate compliance Can't find export and import forces close. Needs to fix the problems with USCF compliance. Would love to use this in a large tournament. Needed: 1. Time stamps removed for tournament mode. 2. Move legality checking for tournament removed. 3. This is the hard one but a way to not allow closing/leaving board at all during tournament AND practice game. Either locking program so it cannot be closed or penalties like program refuses to start tourney or practice game for 2–3 hours. Good start!
