This is the best Taxi app in Sri Lanka better than uber and pickle. Rates are reasonable.

★☆☆☆☆ M Arshad · Apr 21, 2022

Very disappointing, I tried to book ride from 140-150 km, but it has only tuk tuk for the ride, and I was tried to book a ride from 4-5 km range it also no vehicles only tuk tuk very bad

★☆☆☆☆ Daniel Fernando · Jun 29, 2023

This review is for the app - the drivers and electric tuks are brilliant. The app does not show our location to the driver, so they have to call and ask where they should pick you up. This also means you don't know where they are or when they are on the way to pick you up. The driver also does not know the drop location. On top of that the phone number for the driver on the app was incorrect. So basically the app is totally pointless. May as well have a hotline to call the tuks!

★☆☆☆☆ Lahiru Hewawasam · Mar 24, 2021

I encountered one of the most unprofessional drivers that was on your app. I was told to kept waiting saying that he was on his way and that he was nearby, but the tuk never came. When I kept calling him, he simply decided to ignore my calls. Please keep in mind that your customers are in a rush to get to their destinations, and it ruins the experience. I will stop using the Yogo app entirely since I have not encountered this type of unprofessionalism from any of the driver's in other apps.

“YOGO most accurate TAXI APP ever.”

Description by YOGO Taxi Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.

YOGO is the first to launch a taxi booking app by developing a GPS/GPRS enabled smart taxi meter linked to a taxi booking app.
Amongst all the taxi booking apps, “YOGO” is the only service that uses a digital taxi meter that has been approved by the Sri Lanka Measurements department to calculate the accurate distance traveled by passengers.
Since all other taxi booking apps use an Android phone to calculate the distance traveled using GPS ,you are charged not for the actual distance traveled but an approximate estimated amount.
