When this AI app first was released it was a real mess. I won't go into those issues here. But the app has made some serious changes for the better, and currently it's working for what I need, although it's selection of LLM is limited compared to the Web version of the same product. Good progress. Update; Progress has been steady and now is a go-to type app for staying productive even if it's on my phone. Great evolutionary progress, app is becoming more mature. Also, great job to the dev team!

Finally, a browser that helps with research I've been using this as my primary browser for a few weeks now, I can just use the same time to get a cited summary right at the top of the search I particularly like how I can switch between different AI models depending on what I'm doing I usually stick to the auto for quick searches but toggle over to the more advanced models when I'm trying to debug code or draft longer emails. I have paid for the app, but it keeps telling me I've used up my free quota for the model agent, but I haven't done anything... then it links me to purchase some API thing that I don't need or use... what a waste of money... I have uninstalled reinstalled cleared cash login logged out I've done all the troubleshooting things. I sent in a message asking for a support, but nobody is responded. I think there's no customer support for this app.

The biggest issue with the platform is the search. The search results are terrible and almost always irrelevant. Which leads whatever model you are using to spit out garbage. Which is ironic because they literally used to be a "search" company. And they advertise their search api heavily. The biggest difference with perplexity is that the search RAG on perplexity is excellent. Likely uses Google/Bing search API. It's not a hard problem to solve except they can't abandon their own flawed search
