I used to love it... but once the price went up so did the problems... I have to keep it in order to have local channels, but I'm looking forward to moving soon, and I hope YouTube Live TV is one thing I get to leave behind. It's not worth the money to me anymore because it doesn't work like it used to. It's just frustrating... and you can never get a hold of a real person.

We've had YouTube TV for quite a while now, and it's been great. We use it at home on our TV, and I also use it on my phone and tablet when I'm away from home. The app has always been reliable and easy to navigate, and I haven't had any issues with it. I love having all my favorite channels and DVR in one place, and everything syncs across my devices seamlessly. Overall, it's been a great experience, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable live TV streaming service.

UPDATE 2026- ⭐ ⭐ Steady price increases have made me consider switching to Hulu Live or Sling. YouTube TV is not worth the increases. YouTube Premium is not included anymore. It's a great alternative for the cord cutters like me. Plus, my son loves how many sports channels and games he has access to that isn't included in regular basic local cable. Which is more expensive than YouTube TV.

I have had YouTube TV since it's $35/month days. I'm about to leave because of autoplay. Turn on the TV, autoplaynstarts the last show watched. Unacceptable - child turns on TV, last show inappropriate show for kids, but there it is, playing. Have 6 episodes to binge? Fall asleep & they continue playing, all marked watched. Start on 1 device, then move to another? Sync works great, but go back to the 1st device & it plays from the wrong point. Contact support - about autoplay? It's a FEATURE 🤬

For $90 a month I should not have these issues! The "resume watching" hasn't worked since January 2024, It's now August 2026. Recently recorded isn't showing recently recorded programs. I can't find programs through search. If this is their best, I suggest HULU.

For the highest-priced streaming service, the quality is not commensurate with the cost: the audio is ALWAYS out of sync, the video quality is so-so on my top-tier, up-converting LG C3 OLED, AND they charge extra for UHD because YouTube is greedy. The app version is clunky: locating "info" on shows takes many extra button steps. The ads have gotten ridiculously long and more frequent. I have canceled the service and will be using Pluto TV and FreeVee.
