This review is not of the app itself, but of its content, specifically the false teachers it promotes in the reading plans: Joel Os teen, Joyce Meyers, TD Jakes, and Joseph Prince, to name a few. All of these people have teachings contrary to God's Word, and platforming their teachings is extremely dangerous.

The search tool seems to be highly restricted to push a false narrative. While I do not detect any Bible text changes, the fact that I can't search for specific topics the app authors feel is not part of their modern mindset (1 Timothy 2...women not being able to teach or preach) is not acceptable. This is creepy to me. I don't want God's word restricted for modern audiences. Unfortunately the search tool does this.

Updates are making it worse—please prioritize simplicity! With each new upgrade, the app becomes more frustrating and less user-friendly for Android. The core features are breaking: my daily progress tracking keeps glitching, and the app fails to sync properly between my different devices. Please listen to your community and bring back the simplicity of the app. It should be a stable tool for reading scripture, not a source of technical friction.

The newest update has caused havoc in the app. I use the read aloud feature with my year-long Bible study, and lately it begins to freeze up by the third chapter of the day. Once it refreshes, the day is marked complete. But the next day, half of what I read is marked incomplete. I've done 251 days consistently and your app now shows missed day after missed day. PLEASE fix this!
