This YTE robot vacuum is outstanding. This is our 3rd robot vacuum and far surpasses the other 2. After owning this vacuum for more than a year, and using it 3 times a week, I have never had a problem with the Wi-Fi connection. I do wish it were easier to set the no-go zone, so it wouldn't get hung up at the top of the stairs.

I had to change my review. With some patience I was able to obtain a good map to set up rooms and nogo areas. Let the vac run through the whole area/house that it will be used in, and let it return to the base, then it can produce a complete map. Wait for map to separate rooms into different colors before trying to edit rooms or nogo zones. This worked for me.

The app gets 4/5 stars because it isn't perfect, but all the functionality of controlling the X580 robot vacuum is mostly there, and works well once you get the hang of it. Besides a few translation errors and the occasional odd behavior, I've been quite happy with the capabilities of the robot vacuum and this accompanying app. The only thing I would like to see is even more customization/functions, and a desktop client, so I can operate the robot from a computer screen.

Map keeps changing and no way to lock them, so they don't. Having a lidar mapping robot vac isn't much good if the map isn't accurate. Going to return the vac and go with a better product.

Mapping for the vacuum is horrendous. It maps okay, but then gets lost and "repositions" it's dock into a random location, causing it to remap its surroundings over the old map. It looks like the issue is caused by the docking station location and orientation aren't saving correctly...resolve that and this would be a great app.

Please fix mapping. It rewrites map over existing map every time vacuum runs. You also cannot save maps. If you fix this then the vacuum and the software would be five stars.
