Simple but powerful This tool seems like the missing link for the free mind software. Once you've created the mind map, it seems like a breath of fresh air to read it in a list/hierarchical view. Easily one-click up and down the list structure. What looked overwhelming now looks easy. Nice!! Tip: to use this tool effectively, first download a file manager or other search tool that allows you to search for your file your downloaded--via E-mail, USB, etc. to your local storage or SD card. Once found, click the file to open your mind map. (my problem was with the mail client not recognizing the *.mm extension.

Good app for reading Free Mind maps. Only 3 complaints: 1. Formatting doesn't show up in Mind Map mode (like background colors). Not a big deal. 2. Mind Maps mode expands all nodes by default. Closing them is very slow and no way to close them all. 3. Large Mind Maps tend to have nodes overlap. Would not be a big problem if #2 problem didn't expand them all by default
★★☆☆☆
The help is confused and useless. I spent several minutes just trying to create a second node before I gave up. UPDATE: I decided, a few years since I wrote the above, to give this another try to see if it had improved or if it worked better on a new phone (Galaxy S21 Ultra running Android 11), but it's actually got worse. When I try to create a new mind map, it refuses. I notice that its permissions are only for media files, not for all files. So presumably, since Z Mind files aren't media files, it simply doesn't have permission to write to the storage.
★★☆☆☆
Not really a mind map I can appreciate that you can at least browse your Free Mind mind map (without HTML links) on your phone. However, the large in-app ads really put me off. It's gone; I've got a better mind map in my head.
★★☆☆☆
Awful. Regardless of what I tried it could not create my new file. Therefore, app deleted.
