I was put off by the other reviews, but needed to try to use a Zest charger... and it was absolutely fine. A pleasant surprise! It worked well, the app monitored the charge and the kw hrs in real time. Payment was automatic and a receipt arrived by email. The only reason to give it 4 stars rather than 5 was the usual stupid faff of downloading the app and registering. Btw... there was mention of paying a deposit.

Useless registration system. I did not receive the confirmation email even though I requested it several times and was unable to charge.

It's becoming very unreliable for two nights in a row i plugged my car in for it to charge somehow it stops charging itself in the middle of the night. I rely on these chargers to charge my car daily which means I'm late for work and missed out on early morning bookings that I can't carry out because my car is not charged enough resulting on loss of earnings because of zest. I had to call in two days ina row at 4am interrupting my sleep and causing me unnecessary added stress to my mornings.🤬

Tried to add £10 credit and my card was charged £40!! Ontop of that the charger didn't even work! They are everything that is wrong with public charging 🤦♂️

I hate having to download an app to charge my car - nobody will use this app to find chargers as we don't care what company operates the charger, we just want to charge our car! Please just put a contactless reader on all chargers and truly make it easy to charge.
