Zeze Land

Zeze Land is a karaoke lyrics app. Choose a song, press play and sing along while the lyrics scroll line by line on a timer. The app shows lyrics only and does not play audio.

The welcome screen has two buttons. Começar opens the song you looked at last, or the first song on the first launch. Ver músicas opens the song list.

The song list holds 22 Brazilian songs in the Pop, Rock, Sertanejo and MPB genres. Tap a genre tab to filter the list, or tap Todos to see everything. Each row shows the song title, the artist and a picture of Brazil. Type in the search field, or tap the microphone to say a title or artist, to find a song. Search also looks up more songs online and adds them to the list.

On the player screen the current line is highlighted in gold, with the previous line and the next lines around it. When a song has time-synced lyrics, each line lights up at its own time. Otherwise the lines are spread evenly across the length of the song. Tap or drag the progress bar to jump to another moment, use pause and play to stop the lyrics, and use the previous and next buttons to change songs. Previous restarts the song after the first three seconds. The lyrics also pause when you leave the app.

Lyrics are loaded from the free LRCLIB service the first time you open a song and are then kept on your device. An internet connection is needed to load lyrics that are not stored yet, and the search text you type may be sent to that service. No account is required, and your last opened song is stored only on your device.
