ZRelay: Transfer for Nikon

ZRelay is an independent camera companion app for compatible Nikon Z series cameras, designed to make wireless photo transfer and camera control faster and easier on Android.
Transfer photos from your camera to your phone over Wi-Fi, receive new photos automatically while shooting, browse the camera gallery, download JPG and RAW files, and remotely control compatible cameras.
Fast Wireless Photo Transfer
Transfer photos directly from your Nikon Z camera to your Android device over Wi-Fi. On supported camera models, 5 GHz Wi-Fi can provide faster wireless transfer for large photo files.
Actual transfer performance depends on the camera model, regional variant, phone, Wi-Fi settings, distance, and wireless environment.
Automatic Photo Receiving
Configure your compatible camera for automatic photo sending, start receiving in ZRelay, and new photos can be transferred to your phone as you shoot.
This is useful for travel, events, on-location photography, and other workflows where you want photos available on your phone quickly.
Browse Your Camera Gallery
Browse photos stored on the camera card directly from your phone on supported models. View thumbnails, filter supported file types, select multiple photos, and choose what you want to download.
JPG and RAW Downloads
Download JPG, NEF (RAW), or paired JPG + RAW files where supported. This makes it easy to quickly share JPG photos or keep RAW files for later editing.
Batch Downloads
Select multiple photos and download them in one task. ZRelay provides clear transfer progress and file status so larger download jobs are easier to manage.
Remote Shooting
Use your phone for remote shooting on compatible cameras. Supported functions may include live view, autofocus, shutter control, and self-timer features.
The self-timer supports 3, 5, and 10 second countdown options with configurable sound, haptic, screen, and flashlight cues.
Guided Camera Connection
ZRelay includes camera-specific connection guidance and an in-app help center to make initial setup and later reconnection easier.
Compatibility
Features vary by camera model, camera firmware, regional variant, Android device, and connection mode. Some cameras may not support every gallery, transfer, or remote shooting feature shown in the app.
Independent Application
ZRelay is an independently developed third-party application and is not developed, sponsored, endorsed, or affiliated with Nikon Corporation. Nikon and related trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
