Description
Master every type of 11+ Verbal Reasoning question with the most comprehensive methods and techniques course on the App Store. Built for 11+ Grammar School selection tests and Independent School common entrance examinations.
Now with 1,050 practice questions across 21 verbal reasoning topics — 50 questions per topic — plus a Mock Test mode that randomly selects questions from every topic.
THE 21 QUESTION TYPES COVERED
• Closest Meaning • Opposite Meaning • Compound Words • Double Meaning • Hidden Word • Word Connections • Complete the Word Pair • Make a Word • Missing Word • Move a Letter • Insert a Letter • Letter Connections • Letter Series • Letters for Numbers • Number Series • Related Numbers • Complete the Sum • Odd Ones Out • Word Letter Codes • Word Number Codes • Study the Facts
Each topic teaches the underlying method first, then drills it across all variances and difficulty levels — the same generic approach used by GL Assessment, NFER, CEM and the major 11+ test providers.
LESSONS BEFORE PRACTICE
Every topic includes a step-by-step lesson explaining the method and shortcuts before you attempt questions. Build understanding, then build speed.
VOICE-OVER
Questions and answers can be read aloud — useful for younger pupils, dyslexic learners, and audio-only practice on the go.
DETAILED TEST RESULTS
After each test, see questions answered correctly, incorrectly, and skipped, with time taken on every question. Every question can be reviewed with a clear explanation of the answer.
PROGRESS MONITOR
An interactive pie chart displays current progress for each topic. Tap the colored slices to retry only the questions you got wrong, the ones you skipped, or to revisit the ones you got right. The fastest way to a 100% score on every topic.
MOCK TEST
Once you've worked through the topics, take a Mock Test of randomly selected questions from across all 21 types. Mock Test scores are tracked over time in a bar chart so you can see exactly how preparation is progressing. Take as many as you want.
