Description

世界各大博物館與私人館藏自2079年開始傳出陸續失蹤珍貴藏品的報告，這些藏品各自具有不同的神秘力量。2080年臺灣文學館失竊了一副具有改變歷史力量的文物：劉吶鷗的麻將牌，國際刑警高度懷疑這是國際恐怖組織RISS所策動的行為。

該組織宣稱擁有「時空回溯」的技術，有高度證據指出RISS打算在二戰發生前夕，派出特務使用麻將，藉以扭轉二次大戰最終結果。玩家將扮演行動代號「獵殺1940」的國際特務，潛入RISS基地啟動時光機回到過去，尋回麻將同時將歷史導入正軌，以阻止RISS狂妄的野心。

【出場人物介紹】
劉吶鷗（1905-1940）
本名劉燦波，出生於臺南柳營劉家望族，旅居上海。精通英、日、法、中文、廣東話與台語，翻譯許多文學作品與電影理論。除了以中文創作小說，也出資開書店、辦雜誌、拍電影。劉吶鷗的文學風格與思想以「新感覺派」為主，在電影及文學上具有重要位置。1940年於上海被槍殺身亡。

李香蘭
活躍於滿洲國與上海影歌星。原名山口淑子（1920-2014），出生於中國東北的日本家庭，後被中國人收為乾女兒，改名為李香蘭。因電影合作關係，與劉吶鷗結識。

一番ヶ瀬佳雄(1883-1964)
為日本東京府人，東京帝國大學英法科畢業，活躍於臺灣日治時期(大正末期昭和時代前期)的高級官僚，其官階為正五位敘高等官二等勳四等的勒任官。擔任過臺灣總督府官員、陸軍國務卿、新竹州知事與台南州知事。女兒為日本知名社會褔利學者安邦康子(原名一番瀬康子)。
