3i Africa Summit

The 3i Africa Summit Mobile App is the central digital gateway to one of Africa’s most influential gatherings of innovators, investors, policymakers and industry leaders. Designed as a powerful companion to the summit experience, the app transforms how attendees engage with the event—before, during, and after the summit by bringing together information, networking, personalization, and real-time interaction into a single, seamless platform.

At its core, the app supports the mission of the 3i Africa Summit: to catalyze meaningful connections, enable high-value conversations, and accelerate innovation, investment, and policy alignment across the continent. Whether you are attending as a startup founder, investor, corporate executive, regulator, academic, or media professional, the app ensures a highly personalized and outcome-driven experience.

The app provides a unified interface for navigating a complex, multi-layered event that includes keynote sessions, panels, workshops, exhibitions, networking zones, and side events. Users can explore a dynamic agenda, filter sessions by track or topic, and build a personalized schedule by bookmarking sessions of interest. Real-time updates ensure attendees stay informed of any changes, while calendar integration allows seamless syncing with personal schedules.

Networking is a core feature of the platform. With AI-powered matchmaking, the app intelligently connects attendees based on their profiles, interests, and objectives. Users receive curated recommendations and can initiate conversations, send meeting requests, and schedule one-on-one interactions. This transforms networking from chance encounters into structured, high-value engagements.

The app also includes a comprehensive directory of attendees, speakers, and organizations, enabling users to discover relevant connections easily. Rich profiles provide insights into professional backgrounds, while privacy controls ensure users manage their visibility and communication preferences effectively.

Additional features enhance the overall summit experience. Users can access exhibitor profiles, explore interactive venue maps, and discover side events happening alongside the main program. Push notifications deliver real-time updates, reminders, and announcements, ensuring attendees never miss important moments.

On-site, the app streamlines operations with QR-based check-in, fast-track access for premium attendees, and session-level entry control. The digital business card feature allows seamless contact exchange via QR scanning, with all connections saved for post-event follow-up.

Built with robust security, scalability, and performance standards, the app ensures reliability even with thousands of concurrent users. It also supports offline access to essential features, making it usable in low-connectivity environments.

Beyond the event, the app continues to deliver value by enabling ongoing engagement, connection, and collaboration. More than just a tool, the 3i Africa Summit Mobile App is a complete digital ecosystem designed to maximize every attendee’s experience and unlock meaningful opportunities across Africa’s innovation and investment landscape.
