5kVIZ

5kVIZ turns parkrun's results pages into charts, milestones and shareable images. It's a Safari extension: it adds a 5kVIZ button to parkrun's own pages, and everything happens in your browser.

GETTING STARTED
After installing, turn 5kVIZ on in Safari's extension settings: Safari Settings → Extensions on a Mac, or Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions on iPhone and iPad. Allow it on parkrun's sites when asked; one click covers every parkrun country, and 5kVIZ only works on the results and profile pages it adds to. Then open a parkrunner's results, an event's results or an event's history and press the 5kVIZ button.

PARKRUNNERS
- Dashboard: parkruns, most-visited events and special dates such as Christmas Day and New Year's Day

EVENTS
Every parkrun is a story with hundreds of people in it, and 5kVIZ tells all of it, from the front of the field to the last finisher home.
- Overview: the whole morning at a glance, with finishers, average and median times, and the combined parkrun history on the start line
- Podiums for everyone: overall, female and male podiums, plus a mini-podium for every age group, because more than three people deserve a mention
- Finish time distribution: interactive histograms of how the field spread out, by finish time or age grade
- Achievements of the day: the personal bests, the first-timers and the standout age grades
- Clubs and milestones: which milestone clubs and local clubs turned out in numbers
- Share: images that tell the story of the morning

EVENT HISTORY
Every parkrun an event has ever staged, in one place. Watch the course record fall, attendance climb and the regulars become record holders.
- Overview: every event, with total finishers, total volunteers and the averages behind them
- Records and milestones: course records over the years, who holds them and how long they've stood, and the first time attendance broke 200, 300 and 400
- Attendance trends: finishers and volunteers across every event, with smoothed averages, monthly patterns and year-on-year growth
- First finishers: the fastest and slowest winning times, who has led the field most often, and first-finish streaks
- Within reach?: the event's most beatable winning time. On the right quiet Saturday, first place might be closer than you think
- Volunteers: volunteer numbers through the seasons, and the mornings that ran short-handed, because no parkrun happens without its high-vis heroes
- Any single year: narrow every chart and stat to one year for an instant year in review

For parkrunners who love data and venue tourism, and for run directors, volunteers and event social media teams who want to know their parkrun inside out.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
5kVIZ has no servers and collects nothing. It reads the parkrun pages you open, and what you save (parkrunners, events, preferences) stays in Safari on your device. No separate login.

5kVIZ is independent and not affiliated with parkrun. It respects the inclusive, community spirit of the parkrun movement.
