To become a driver on our non-profit carpooling platform, there are a few requirements that must be met. First and foremost, drivers must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle that meets our safety standards. Additionally, drivers must have a clean driving record and pass a background check.
As a non-profit organization, we take safety and responsibility seriously, and require our drivers to adhere to certain standards in order to participate in our platform. This includes having a valid auto insurance policy that meets state minimum requirements, as well as completing a safety checklist for their vehicle.
In terms of documents, drivers must upload a clear and legible copy of their driver's license and vehicle insurance policy to their profile during the onboarding process. Drivers must also provide a recent photo of themselves and their vehicle, along with any relevant details about their commute, such as the days and times they are available to offer rides.
