We don't all make the same typos. That is exactly what an autocorrect can't always guess — not even one powered by artificial intelligence. It doesn't always fix what you meant, it misses plenty, and you start over, endlessly.

When the keyboard spots a typo it could fix, it doesn't fix it... It offers you the correction: one tap to accept, nothing at all to ignore. Accepted corrections then apply automatically every single time, whatever app you happen to be in. And you don't have to wait for suggestions: you can easily create your own corrections too.

CREATE SHORTCUTS ON THE FLY
Type "pls" and it writes "please". Type "rn" and it writes "right now". Type "zzz" and it writes "Good night, talk to you tomorrow!". You create the shortcut once, straight from the keyboard, in the middle of a conversation!

You'll be surprised how many keystrokes you make in a day, in a month... or in a lifetime! The keyboard is built to spare you as many costly keystrokes as possible: it learns from your typos, and it remembers the exact spot where your finger lands on each key to show it to you on a map. If some keys keep playing tricks on you, you can still move their boundaries yourself, with a swipe of your finger. Every statistic is explained in plain language, inside the app, with a single tap on its little i!

SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE
French, English, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian or European Portuguese, German, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish and Icelandic: the app, the keyboard and its corrections follow your iPhone's language, and you can switch at any time in Settings. Type on AZERTY or QWERTZ? It does those too.

YOUR DATA GOES NOWHERE
What you write is never transmitted. To no one, nowhere, under no circumstances. Your shortcuts and your statistics stay on your device (apart from a few anonymous counters, and only if you choose to send them). If they sync between your devices, it is through your own private iCloud — and through nothing else. There is no developer server, so quite simply nothing to hack and nothing to sell.
