Abtuer

Abtuer is a fielding game about Hornussen, the farm-village sport of the Emmental, the Bernese Mittelland, Solothurn, Aargau and Lucerne. It is made for people who grew up beside a Hornusser field, and for Swiss living abroad who miss the Sunday matches.

You command the Abtuer of a village Hornussergesellschaft. The rival Hornusser whips the Stecken, the Träf meets the Nouss on the Bock, and a small puck comes screaming down the Ries. Read its shadow, drag the right fielder under it and tap to throw the Schindel up at exactly the right moment. Every Nouss that lands unstopped is a Nummer against you. Fewer Nummern wins; when they are level, points for distance decide.

Between the halves you take the Bock yourself. Hold to load the Stecken, watch the Träf come round, and release on the Nouss. A full, clean Träf sends it past 280 m.

Everything works offline. No account, no ads, no tracking. Clubs and players are fictional; the app has no live scores and no federation data.
