Description by Mohammed Alshehri(from the App Store)
Adhan Bilal shows prayer times and notifies you when each prayer begins. Times follow the Umm al-Qura calendar (or any of 12 calculation methods) and are computed on your device from your location, so they work offline.
• Prayer times computed on-device from your location or a city you pick. No internet needed. • A notification at each prayer time with the takbir sound, switchable per prayer. The app schedules the coming days, so open it about once a week to keep the schedule full. • A live countdown to the next prayer. • A qibla compass that uses the phone's true heading and shows the direction in degrees. • A library of muezzins: choose the voice and either the opening takbir only or the full adhan. The full adhan plays when the app is open at prayer time and in the sound preview; notification sounds are limited by iOS to about 30 seconds. • Ramadan timetable: imsak, fajr and maghrib for every day, a pre-imsak reminder, and a moon-sighting correction for the month start. • Ramadan isha follows Umm al-Qura (two hours after maghrib).
Note: like other apps, the notification sound follows the phone's silent switch and Focus mode.
Privacy: your location is used on your device only and never sent anywhere. No accounts, no ads.
The artwork of Bilal (may God be pleased with him) seen from behind is illustrative, recalling the first muezzin in Islam; it is not a depiction of his person.
