Advent Praise: SDA Hymnal

Advent Praise is a hymn book for church, with the full Christ in Song hymnal and the SDA Hymnal (1985) for Seventh-day Adventist worship.

Zulu: amaculo, izihlabelelo. Xhosa: amaculo, iingoma. Sotho: difela, lifela. Tswana: dipina, difela. Shona: nziyo, kunamata. Chichewa: nyimbo. Venda: nyimbo. Ndebele: izingoma.

Read each hymn in the Parchment reader, or turn on dark mode. A number keypad shows the hymn title as you type.

Nine vernacular translations are included, and all of them are free: English, Chichewa, Tswana, Xhosa, Sotho, Shona, Venda, Zulu, and Ndebele.

Bible verse chips open in the Bible app. Collections follow the sections of the SDA Hymnal. A pitch pipe gives you a starting note. Setlists hold the hymns for a service.

HYMN OF THE DAY (FREE)
A free widget with a new hymn every day and the opening lines of its first verse, in small, medium and large sizes and on the Lock Screen. Tap it to open the hymn.

SHEET MUSIC
Engraved sheet music for 189 Christ in Song hymns, with the words under the notes. View a whole page at a time or one line of music at a time, and follow along as the piano plays.

ADVENT PRAISE PRO
Advent Praise Pro is an optional annual subscription that unlocks piano accompaniment, full sheet music pages and casting to a TV or projector. It costs R299.99 a year (or the equivalent in your currency) and starts with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the trial ends. The subscription renews automatically each year unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and you can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. Every hymnal stays free. If you already bought Pro or the MIDI unlock, you keep it.

Piano accompaniment. MIDI piano backing for every hymn, with the line being sung picked out as it plays.

Church mode on the big screen. A clean, full-screen worship display on your projector or TV. Pick your TV from the AirPlay button, use Screen Mirroring, or plug in a cable. The words fill the screen and your phone becomes the remote.

Announcements and pictures. Blank the screen, show an announcement in large text, or put a photo from your gallery on the projector or TV. Clear it and the hymn comes back.

Lead from your Lock Screen. A Live Activity shows the hymn number, title and current verse on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with Previous, Next and End buttons.

Presenter widgets. The Church Remote widget puts church mode controls on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, in small, medium and large sizes. Go to the next or previous verse, blank the screen, jump to the next hymn in your playlist, resume presenting, or open the number pad or your Favourites.
