After Bingo

Bingo's over. Somebody called a false bingo, the good chair is up for grabs, and the retirement village has decided to settle it the old-fashioned way: with a bazooka.

After Bingo is a top-down arena brawler with three-minute rounds. Grab whatever's lying on the floor, whack whoever's nearest and be home before the evening news.

EIGHT WEAPONS, NO MANNERS
Everyone starts with a walking stick. The baseball bat, the sledgehammer, the shotgun, the flamethrower, the tazer, the SMG and the bazooka lie around the map, waiting for someone with nothing left to lose. One weapon in hand at a time. Health packs patch you up, and a quick dash gets those old hips out of trouble.

THREE MAPS
• The Bingo Hall: round tables, a giant bingo ball on the floor and a podium with the bingo cage.
• Four Seasons: a forest through all four seasons, with trees to hide behind when your knees need a minute.
• The Community Centre: the hall, the chapel, the car park and the gazebo. The whole village is a battlefield.

ALONE, WITH FRIENDS OR ONLINE
Take on up to eight bots in four difficulties, from Easy to Very hard. Or host a game and share a six-character code: up to four players, with bots in the empty seats. Friends can join from their own phone or from a browser at afterbingo.app/play.

THE REGULARS
Gus and Stan are ready to go. Otis and Mabel come off the Prize table for bingo balls, and Lou and Pearl wait in the Store.

XP, RANKS AND BINGO BALLS
Every round against bots or friends pays XP and bingo balls. Climb from Whippersnapper to Centenarian, rack up kills for silver, velvet, gold and diamond walking sticks, and spend your balls on hats, outfits and dash trails. Then check the leaderboards to see who really runs this village.

Move stick on the left. On the right, the big red button: tap to hit the nearest, hold to keep swinging, drag to aim. The yellow arrows dash. A short tutorial on the first launch, aim assist for shaky hands, and rounds short enough for a tea break.
