Akoe: Live Captions

When the whole table is talking, it is easy to fall behind. Akoe puts the conversation on your iPhone's screen as it happens, so you can follow it and join in.

LAY THE PHONE ON THE TABLE
Point its bottom edge at whoever is talking. About a second after someone speaks, their words appear on screen, as they said them.

KNOW WHO SAID IT
Each line carries the person's name and colour. Name a voice once and Akoe knows it next time. Up to four people at a time.

SPANISH AND ENGLISH, EVEN MID-SENTENCE
Akoe follows a family that switches language from one sentence to the next, without settings to change.

CAUGHT UP IN SECONDS
Missed something? "Last 2 min" sums up the last two minutes in three short lines.

MADE FOR READING
Large, clear text you can make bigger, high contrast, and a screen that reads the other way up so the microphone faces the room.

PRIVACY
Akoe uses an AI service to transcribe what is said: while someone is talking, the sound is sent over an encrypted connection and the words come back. Akoe does not keep it. Names, voices and conversations stay on your phone. No account, no ads, no tracking.

SUBSCRIPTION
Akoe is a monthly subscription with the first three days free. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the three free days end. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
